One kit. Long-lasting impact.
WEGO offers three types of projects you can be a part of.
All three projects are guided by our WEGO Kit with a detailed and adaptable curriculum, tips, and tricks to help you (and us too!) connect with our senior citizens.

WEGO-led Projects
Led by the WEGO team, WEGO-led projects are targeted at senior citizens living in registered centers (ie: senior citizen care centers, old folks homes, community centers, etc).
This is the project for you if you are testing the waters and want to know the best practices in conducting your own mini WEGO sessions in the future. The WEGO team also uses the same WEGO Program Kit developed as a guide in all our projects. |
Champion-led Projects
Sign up to be a WEGO Champion (what we call our Volunteers!) today and lead your own WEGO project.
This is the project for you if you are worried about your loved ones being helpless due to digital limitations and you want to start empowering them with a few basic digital literacy tips and tricks. If you are worried of the curriculum, don't fret. WEGO offers a comprehensive program kit to kick start your journey. |
Youth-led Projects
Still studying but want to volunteer? Check if your university is a partner with us!
Our newly-introduced Youth-led Projects, also known as #WEGOFORWARD projects, are tailored 60-day projects with local universities and student communities or student clubs. Participating students will receive certificates, community hours, and other perks* upon completion of this program.
This is the project for you if your university is part of our network (or if they aren't, drop us a note and we can definitely work something out) and you are keen to help senior citizens be more digital savvy, especially in a time such as this where Covid might have separated you from your grandmas/ grandpas.
*The structure for this program will vary slightly (simplified for students) from WEGO-led and Champion-led projects but the goal is the same.
*Perks will vary depending on agreements with universities.

The WEGO Program
Applies to WEGO-led and Champion-led Projects.
Every WEGO Project is ideally broken down into 4 parts: 1 Due Diligence + 2 Teaching Sessions + 1 Follow Up Session.
This is an exercise to determine the suitability of senior citizen care centers. Shortlisted centers will be evaluated based on 4 key metrics.
